FILM PROGRAMS AT AMA KRAKOW

New programs at AMA Kraków. All about film—featuring technologies that are shaping the future of production.

The AMA Film Academy in Kraków is now accepting applications for its new programs for the 2026–2027 academic year. These are programs entirely focused on film—directing, cinematography, and post-production—designed around the real-world workflow of contemporary film production, where traditional craftsmanship is combined with AI tools.

AMA Kraków’s new offering includes:

Directing (Directing + AI) — a program focused on cinematography, working with actors and the crew, and modern production processes. AI supports the development phase: references, mood boards, previs — creative decisions remain with the director.

Cinematography (cinematography + AI) — film imagery, camera work, lighting, and composition, complemented by a modern cinematography workflow. You’ll learn to think visually and navigate efficiently within the environment in which today’s industry operates.

Post-Production + AI — compositing, visual effects, color grading, and the final film image. A program for those who want to shape the final look of their footage—from editing to VFX.

Visual Storytelling — image design, visual narrative, and thoughtful audiovisual form. The foundation for anyone who wants to tell stories through images, regardless of the medium.

All programs are available as full-time and part-time options.

The movie first. Technology—as a tool.

AMA Kraków is not an “AI video” course or a school focused on tools. It’s a new take on a film school with a 15-year tradition—a place where you learn to craft visuals, drive the narrative, and make creative decisions, with technology supporting that process rather than replacing it. Post-production is part of the filmmaking process from the very beginning, and AI is used for reference, previsualization, and rapid testing of ideas—exactly as it’s done today on professional sets and in post-production studios.

Classes are taught by working filmmakers, and from the very first session, the curriculum is based on hands-on experience: working with a camera, on set, and in post-production.

Enrollment is currently open. The number of spots in each program is limited.
