Online Film Production

In the Film Production program at AMA Film Academy, we offer a unique approach to teaching that prepares students for a variety of careers in the film industry, such as producer, executive producer, production manager, production assistant, location manager, location scout, and sales agent. Our educational program is tailored to the requirements of today’s production structure, both in Poland and around the world.The use of AI tools in film production is a key distinguishing feature of our course in the Polish educational market, enabling students to acquire unique skills that align with the latest trends and demands of the film industry.

Course Structure Classes are held online two days every other weekend, allowing for a flexible and in-depth understanding of each stage of film production. The curriculum covers the five key phases of film production: project development, pre-production, shooting, post-production, and promotion and sales, with a particular emphasis on the development phase. Students learn how to create a complete audiovisual product—from the beginning of the creative process through to its successful sale.

Experts and Practical Experience Our instructors are experienced film producers and production managers who work on major film and television projects. Hands-on classes on film and TV series sets provide real-world experience that is invaluable in the industry. As a member of the National Chamber of Audiovisual Producers (KIPA), we also offer our top students the opportunity to participate in internships.

Diploma and Career Prospects To complete the course, students must submit a complete production package and present their project during a pitch session, which serves as an open final exam. Graduates receive an AMA Film Academy diploma, which certifies the skills they have acquired and opens the door to a career in the rapidly changing world of film production.

First Semester

During the first semester, students at the AMA Film Academy gain a solid foundation in film production. The program begins with an introduction to key concepts and a discussion of the main stages of production: from concept to distribution. The roles and responsibilities within the production team are discussed in detail, covering not only producers but also production assistants, location managers, and post-production coordinators.

Second Semester

The second semester focuses on the practical application of the knowledge gained in the first semester and develops the skills necessary to independently produce films.

Degree in Film Production

To complete the course, students must submit a complete production package—the result of collaboration with students in the Directing program on their graduation films—and present their project during a pitching session, which serves as an open graduation exam attended by the public. Graduates receive a diploma from AMA FILM ACADEMY.
