The curriculum covers the core areas of the audiovisual industry: directing, screenwriting, cinematography, film production, acting, image post-production, editing, color grading, VFX, sound production, and photography. AMA FILM ACADEMY offers both full-time (day) and part-time (evening) programs designed for beginners and advanced filmmakers. The AMA FILM ACADEMY’s program consists of both regular degree programs and multi-day workshops covering film technology and production, as well as master classes. AMA offers film programs in Kraków at AMA KRAKÓW and in Warsaw at AMA WARSZAWA.
AMA Warsaw
Warsaw offers direct, hands-on vocational training programs in film-related professions. AMA was a pioneer in training for new film professions several years ago, introducing programs such as cinematography and lighting, editing and color grading, and a VFX specialization. Graduates of these programs are already working as colorists, gaffers, camera assistants, Steadicam operators, and VFX specialists at post-production studios.
AMA Warsaw offers degree programs in many contemporary fields related to film image and sound production. Classes are held primarily on film sets, at lighting companies, camera and grip equipment rental shops, post-production studios, soundstages, and color grading studios. Classes—including studio work, theory, and practical training—are also held at the AMA Warsaw campus. Upon completion of each course, students receive an AMA Diploma.
At AMA WARSAW, we train: Camera Operators, Focus Pullers, DIT Assistants, Gaffers, GRIP Technicians, VFX Specialists, Digital Post-Production and Pre-Production Specialists, 3D Animators, Colorists, Film Imaging Technicians, and Live Broadcast Specialists. Krakow offers all fields of practical training in film-related professions. AMA offers training in traditional artistic fields such as directing, film acting, cinematography, and film editing, as well as in modern fields such as color grading, VFX, 3D animation, sound production, film production, and screenwriting. AMA in Kraków also offers general film courses such as the Film Studies program, basic and advanced film courses, and “Filmmaking Basic” taught in English. AMA in Kraków’s offerings are complemented by numerous professional film workshops. AMA in Kraków offers all its programs in both full-time and part-time formats. Upon completion of each course, students receive an AMA Diploma.
