Lecturer Profile

Composer, music producer, composer of music for films, theater productions, and songs. Music director at the J. Słowacki Theater in Kraków from 1999 to 2002. He collaborates with the State Higher School of Theater in Kraków and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra in Kraków. At the Łaźnia Nowa Theater, he composed the music for P. Waligórski’s plays: “Cukier w normie,” “Lis Filozof,” “The Educator: Act One,” “From Poland with Love,” as well as B. Szydłowski’s productions: “Oedipus,” “Oedipus: A Nowa Huta Tragedy,” “The Morality of Mrs. Dulska, or In Search of the Lost Chakra,” and “The Fakir, or Optimism.”

He has composed music for over 20 theater productions and 8 films. In 2005, as the composer of the music for the play *Cukier w normie*, he was one of the recipients of the third-place group award for the producers and performers of that production at the 11th National Competition for the Staging of Polish Contemporary Drama. He served as music director at the Juliusz Słowacki Theater in Kraków and as arranger and composer for the youth band Blue Big Band. (As a composer, he collaborates with the State Higher Theater School in Kraków and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra in Kraków.) He has released three albums: *Moja Emily Dickinson*, *Wilderness Concerto*, and *Be Free*, as well as two albums for children: *Rozśpiewany świat* and *Cztery pory roku*.
