A well-known Polish actress and longtime star of the TV series “Klan.” She is from Bielsko-Biała, a fact of which she is very proud, but she graduated from the acting department at the State Higher School of Theater in Warsaw. She was then associated with Warsaw’s Ateneum Theater for 24 years, where she played many leading and significant roles. She also appeared in films, television theater, and radio theater.Her artistic achievements also include roles in dubbing. Together with her husband, Jacek Bursztynowicz, and Janusz Tylman, a pianist and composer, she created a lyrical cabaret called “Cafe-teatr na Francuskiej.” For many years, she helped organize literary events at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, showcasing Polish and foreign literature. She wrote columns for the television supplement “Polska the Times,” which were later published in a book titled “Just Like in Life: Columns.” She gained great popularity for her role as Elżbieta in the soap opera “Klan,” which can still be watched today. Most recently, she appeared on stage in Colleen Murphy’s play “Early Bird” in the role of Lilly.
