Lecturer Profile

Director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Directors’ Guild. A graduate of the film and television cinematography and photography program at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia and the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing.

In 2021, he made his feature film debut with “Sonata”, which brought him numerous awards at festivals in Poland and abroad, including the Janusz “Kuba” Morgenstern “Perspektywa” Award for Best Debut. Since 1990, he has been associated with the Hermetic Garage Platform of Artistic Activities ^[1] . He has written scripts for such television series as: Na dobre i na złe , Ojczyzna Mateusz , Nad rozlewiskiem , and Straż acy . Director and screenwriter of musical, documentary, and feature films. Winner of the 3rd Polish Film Institute Award (together with Dominik Gąsiorowski) for the screenplay for Felicja i Jezus (2014) and the 2nd Prize for the screenplay for Sonata (2018) in the “Script Pro” competition.
