Lecturer Profile

An art historian, museum educator, and popularizer of culture and history. He is among a group of specialists who uniquely combine scholarly work with wide-ranging public education, aimed primarily at adult audiences. He studied at the University of Warsaw, where he majored in Mediterranean archaeology.

For many years, he has been professionally associated with the Royal Castle in Warsaw, serving as a senior curator and head of the Museum Activities Department. He has led numerous meetings and lectures at the Castle. He is known for his ability to convey knowledge about art in an accessible and engaging manner. His lectures cover a wide range of topics—from ancient art, through the history of European culture, to issues related to iconography, symbolism, and the interpretation of works of art. In addition to his research and teaching activities, he is also involved in the arts—he paints, draws, and creates graphic art. His interests also include classical music.
