Course on Filming and Film Production

Our advanced film course prepares students to work independently as solo video producers, camera operators, and creators of short films, as well as to produce commercials, corporate videos, trade show videos, informational videos, music videos, and film clips for a variety of purposes.

Film Production Guidelines: Short Fiction and Documentary Films

Course Objective:

• To familiarize participants with advanced techniques in directing, cinematography, editing, and online content production.
• To prepare participants to create high-quality advertising videos, music videos, and other forms of online content.
• To familiarize participants with the basic techniques of film production, with a focus on short fiction and documentary films.
• To prepare participants to create simple fiction and documentary films, such as short films, vlogs, and mini-documentaries.

    • Professional cameras (Blackmagic URSA Mini, Blackmagic Pocket, Z-Cam) — Cameras designed specifically for film production, featuring advanced functions, high image quality, and expandability.

This course will provide participants with a solid foundation in film production, focusing on the practical aspects of creating short fiction and documentary films.

At each session, participants take part in hands-on workshops, acquiring skills in cinematography and directing, the production of commercials and music videos, as well as advanced-level operation of video and DSLR equipment. They complete group photography and film projects, as well as an individual color film etude in any genre, including reportage, documentary, commercial, music video, and fiction.

Certificate of Completion for the Advanced Film Course

To pass the course and earn the film producer certificate, students must submit a color film project to be presented during the exam. Students who pass the exam will receive an AMA FILM ACADEMY Certificate.

AMA students have access to a well-stocked rental facility for camera, lighting, sound, and grip equipment, as well as advanced editing suites and a photography studio.
